Since my surgery, the days seem to go by really fast! I wake up and go for my morning walks, then I do some kind of training with dad. We eat breakfast – OH! And dad cooks for me a lot more now too. He’s been getting some helpful tips on how to help me with an even better diet with no grains at all. Plus I’ll be taking more supplements. Dad says that I’m helping him to be more health conscience too . I’m a good influence on him!
Day 3 was super relaxing and I was feeling so much Better! I had a mellow day hanging out with my family at home. I did get to open my toys from my friend Monty! Thanks Monty! I loved them (and so do my little brothers).
Day 4: I was feeling Stronger! That morning, I walked with my little brothers to the corner. They followed me everywhere and copied me by peeing on the same stuff.. but they can’t reach or anything, but at least they tried. I was also super happy to see my neighbor, Stella! She’s so sweet and likes me too!
Later that afternoon, Dad had a special surprise for me. He said that he was going to take us for our first family walk at my favorite park! Yippeeee!! It felt like it’s been forever since I went there last!
Dad packed up the car, loaded up my wagon and we were off! I could NOT WAIT to get there!
It was AWESOME being back at the park! I was running around, super excited to be on my stomping grounds! I tried to pee on everything at the beginning! Dad had to slow me down, so he had me and Koa do some mat work together. It was good practice for both of us.
We met our friends Chloe and Travis at the park too, so I was even more excited to see them and their parents! We took off and I felt Faster than I’ve ever felt before :) But of course, Dad watches my every move and when I was running out of steam, he would put me in my wagon and pull me. I didn’t mind though, I needed the rest and I was just happy to be on a mini adventure. Every now and again, Dad would let me out to explore.
It was a great time at the park with my pals and family! Afterwards, we all got to hang out, while our parents had breakfast. Dad brought special treats for us too.
I could’ve stayed at the park and ran around all day, but I get tired more than used to though. Dad reminds me that I’m still recovering. Sometimes I forget. I’m feeling Better, Stronger and Faster every day and I’m not letting anything slow me down!
Thanks again for stopping by to read my blog. Tomorrow’s Post: “It’s Doctor Time!” Days 5-8 and Monday will be real time!
